At the North Texas Junior Golf Academy our goal is not to just train junior golfers but create Junior Golf Athletes. With the help of our sponsors, we are able to offer many programs to accommodate both beginning and advanced players as they progress through their golf training. We offer home school, high school and college prep courses. Beginners are introduced to the game and advanced players learn to improve and fine tune their skills.

We accomplish our goal by teaching students how proper setup and alignment impacts the outcome. You cannot consistently strike the ball properly without sequencing the swing correctly. The swing will not sequence correctly without proper setup and alignment. This cannot be fully accomplished without proper fitness. Golf fitness is the key to consistent tournament play. Not just physical fitness but mental fitness as well. We will teach you proper mental acuity to get you through your golf round as it ebbs and flows.

Our Facility

Los Rios Golf Course is rated among the top public golf courses in North Texas. The traditional layout spreads over 220 acres and features tree-lined fairways and generous sized Bermuda greens. Los Rio opened in 1974 and was designed by Texas golf legend Don January. At Los Rios, we take full advantage of its lush surroundings with live oak trees and a meandering creek that comes into play on 14 of the 18 holes. All of this in addition to 8 ponds plus an island green par 3 will test even the best golfers.

The driving range will accommodate 30 plus golfers on grass lined tees. The chipping green offers five flag stick locations to improve your short game with rolling mounds around the green to simulate the design of an actual course. The facility also includes a large practice putting green. Separate from the course but part of the practice facility, the 4 hole short game area offers us the opportunity to work with you on your short game.
